The Cross of the Order of the Cross of Grunwald First Class has the form of an isosceles cross measuring 55 × 55 mm, made of gold. The arms of the cross are smooth and framed in gold. In the central part there is a trilateral shield in a gold frame. On the obverse of the shield are two swords pointing down with their blades - a symbol of victory over the Teutonic Knights in the Battle of Grunwald. On the reverse of the shield is an inscription in three lines: 1410 / KG / 1944, referring to the Battle of Grunwald and the formation of the People's Guard, and the letters "KG" stand for the Cross of Grunwald. The swords and inscriptions in this class are gilded. The order is worn on a green ribbon with two thin red stripes on the sides, which symbolize the national colors and the struggle for liberation and victory. This particular Cross is probably the version produced by the Wartonia plant
Overall condition as shown in the photos.
