A variant featuring the Lewart coat of arms (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) in the shield, the mint mark “hooks” (of Mint Master Teodor Busch) on the right, the abbreviated date 94 on the left, and the initials I–F (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) on both sides of the shield.
On both sides of the mint mark “hooks,” the initials V–I (of Walenty Jahns—the leaseholder of the Poznań mint).
A variant with the king’s title SIG 3 ... in the rim on the obverse and the inscription ... POLONIA ... on the reverse.
Condition: 2/2+
Minor flaws in the disc and strike, but a fully legible and beautifully preserved piece. Good detail. Luster and plenty of mint mirror finish. A beautiful coin
