Portrait of the king as a broad-shouldered bust wearing a crown with lilies.
A variant featuring the Lewart coat of arms (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) in the shield, the mint mark “hooks” (of Mint Master Teodor Busch) on the left, the abbreviated date 91 on the right, and the initials I–F (of Jan Firlej—Grand Crown Treasurer) on both sides of the shield.
A variant with the king’s title SIGI 3 ... in the rim on the obverse and the inscription ... POLONIA ... on the reverse.
Condition:
Slight scratching on the obverse (visible in the photo), but a beautifully struck and well-preserved piece.
