Adam FAGLIO, Optimism, 2023

Oil, canvas, 60 x 80 cm, signed: p.d.: Faglio 2023, author's description on the back: "OPTIMISM."

From an early age he manifested an interest in drawing and painting. Working professionally (for the longest time in the conservation of monuments) he never stopped working creatively. In 1983, a commission of the Ministry of Culture and Art issued him a certificate stating that he was a painter. Since 1991, he has been engaged exclusively in painting. He participates in artistic life by taking part in plein-air and group and individual exhibitions. His works are in numerous private and public collections (museums and churches) at home and abroad. Adam Faglio's works are an attempt to show his wanderings along overt and secret paths leading through worlds far and near. Rich in experience is the wandering, exploration but also contemplation of such a seemingly banal subject of still life.
