The artist was born in Pruszków and currently works in her studio in Warsaw. Her paintings are primarily created using oil paint, though she readily employs acrylics and pastels to build multilayered structures and textures. She experiments with the interplay of techniques because she believes that in art—just as in music—the most interesting phenomena occur between sounds and colors, in a space that cannot be seen but can be felt. She is a musicologist by training. Music has always been more than just sound to her—it was the space in which her sensitivity matured. She began her journey by playing the keyboard and guitar, later discovered rhythm through dance, and eventually decided to explore the essence of music through her studies in musicology. While working on her paintings, music continues to accompany her as a backdrop, a pulse, and an invisible dialogue with color. It guides the artist through the creative process, lending it harmony and dynamism, and allowing her to paint silence and sound on the canvas. She discovered her passion for drawing and painting as early as childhood. She inherited her love of art from her mother, who created unique drawings for her—ranging from fairy-tale characters to pastel compositions. Over time, she developed her skills by attending one of Warsaw’s drawing schools and then the Studio of Theater Techniques in Warsaw, where she honed her craft in the painting studio. Although she did not graduate from a formal fine arts academy, the experience she gained provided her with a solid foundation for further experimentation. Her current works are the result of great passion, curiosity about the world, and a constant search for new forms of expression.
