The lithograph is from the second edition published in the early 1980s. The 1969 edition of *Alice in Wonderland* was a heliogravure. The entire project comprised 12 heliogravures and an etched frontispiece; it was published by Maecenas Press–Random House in New York, with a print run of 2,500 pieces. The Collectors’ Guild acquired the rights (contracts) associated with Maecenas Press for a limited edition of prints from the Alice in Wonderland series.
