Katarzyna Haber, Children, pen and ink drawing on paper, 23x23 cm, 2022 The author draws portraits of her children, cats, interiors, genre scenes. Created with bold lines, the pen and ink drawings on drawing paper, bristol, cardboard evoke associations with Henri Matiss or the notes of Józef Czapski, but they are completely free of any inspiration from the work of another artist. By drawing her children, the interior of her apartment, her cats, the artist manifests her freedom from all restrictions and creates notes of fleeting everyday life and the warmth of her feelings towards her children. In a way, this is a "feminist manifesto" not iconoclastic, but without complexes affirming motherhood, which does not contradict a career or a woman's work. The condition of the work is very good, unframed. The gallery can realize the framing of the drawing at the request and expense of the buyer.
