The Country in the Face of Soviet Claims....
Poland should receive all of East Prussia, Gdańsk, Western Pomerania, and Opole Silesia from the north and west. The German population of these territories should be resettled.
We do not agree to a trade-off between the western and eastern borders. The western territories cannot serve as compensation—this is merely the return of lands once stolen from us.
...
Knowing the fundamental goals and methods of our eastern neighbor, we do not attach much importance to any agreements concerning the administration of our authorities in territories occupied by the Soviets; for we do not believe these agreements will be faithfully carried out.
The Polish government has rejected the Curzon Line as the future Polish-Soviet border.
