Vintage Silver-Plated Spice Set
Glass and silver-plated metal.
The set consists of a glass salt shaker and pepper shaker set in silver-plated mountings. On the richly repoussé base, among the acanthus leaves, traces of hallmarks are visible (almost invisible due to later mechanical damage). The set is in a historicist style, reminiscent of Baroque motifs. It likely dates from around 1900.
Dimensions: 12 x 10 cm
Weight (set): 20 g
Condition: very good (covered with a light patina; secondary mechanical damage to the hallmarks—scratched; the left rear leg was added later)
