Her hands are folded on the cross, as for Holy Communion. The painting does not belong to the type of icons and is a religious painting. The work is made in oil technique on canvas laid on a wooden base. The canvas has a modern texture. It is likely that the board was previously used as an icon. The wooden base on the reverse side is extensively and deeply carved by woodworm, the part on the right side is completely destroyed because of this. Two hats of wrought-iron carnations are visible on the desky on the reverse side. An elongated peg indentation runs down the middle.
