Tadeusz Szkodzinski (1915-1983) of Liszna (Biala Podlaska district) was a very prolific artist, most often illustrating scenes from village life. Andrzej Wieleba (1922-1974) of Godziszów (Janów Lubelski district) stood out for his great need to create and his fondness for decorative treatment of the sculptures and objects he made (such as mirror frames and wall sconces).
