Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the Pedagogical University of Kraków, where she earned her degree in painting in the studio of Dr. Aleksander Pieńko. Between 2000 and 2010, she actively participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Poland. She currently continues her individual creative work, combining painting with set design for theatrical productions. The main theme of her work is the human being, whom she depicts in a manner she describes as “the human being seen from within.” The artist most often depicts people in the form of wooden dolls, marionettes, and stone statues, allowing these symbolic representations to tell their own brief stories, frozen for a moment within the image.
