Biography
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In 2000, he received his diploma in the studio of Professor Ryszard Hunger. He currently works as a lecturer at the Department of Directing at the National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz. The subject matter of his work has evolved strongly. Paintings on billboards, through draperies, and, in time, painting compositions dense in animalistic and floral forms, to today's sunken in darkness scenes involving undefined characters, depicted in situations of fights, conversations, or silent encounters, played out against the backdrop of a suburban landscape. The artist refers to historical events and figures, as well as to actuality and the world around him, creatively transforming reality. His paintings were recognized by qualifying for the list of finalists of the prestigious publication "100 painters of tomorrow" in 2014. He has presented his works in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
