Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1905-1906 and 1908-1911, then traveled to Munich, Florence and Paris. In 1915, he left Paris for Belgium and settled in Namur. He practiced oil painting, which is characterized by rich texture and dark colors. He painted mainly landscapes and urban views from Poland and Belgium. During World War II, he created a series of portraits in Polish folk costumes.
