Then he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, under the guidance of Leon Wyczółkowski and Jan Stanisławski, where he studied from 1897 to 1901. After his studies, in 1905 he settled permanently in Warsaw, from where he traveled around the country and abroad - to Crimea, Italy, Germany, Austria. Beginning in 1897, he exhibited a lot, often winning prestigious prizes and awards. He was a member of several major art associations, including the Association of Polish Artists "Art", as well as the Warsaw Association of Artists "Splinter" and the Circle of Polish Mariners. He also belonged to the Warsaw art group "Pro Arte." In addition, he cooperated with the editorial board of the literary and artistic monthly "Sphinx." He was primarily a painter of the Polish landscape, the creator of atmospheric landscapes of Mazovia. He was also an accomplished marine painter, the author of views from the shores of the Baltic or the Black Sea. In the interwar period, his delicately misty landscapes, painted under the influence of Jan Stanislawski, were highly regarded and enjoyed great success. Light played an important role in Teodor Ziomek's paintings. The moodiness of his soulful landscapes was in line with the aphorism that landscape should express the state of the soul.
