Painter. A pupil of W. Gerson and J. Kauzik at the Warsaw Drawing Class, he later studied in Munich - privately with A. Azbe and at the Academy with F. Stuck. In later years he traveled extensively in Europe and the country. From 1901 to 1904 he was an assistant to K. Krzyzanowski at his private school in Warsaw. Beginning in 1904, he stayed in Italy for a period of about ten years, coming to the country for longer stays. At that time he painted portraits, nudes, genre scenes and landscapes. Beginning in 1907, he began to paint pictures with cattle, which in time became his specialty. His paintings, which are painted with skill and freedom, are usually maintained in the realist convention. He exhibited a lot.
