Felicja Czajkowska was a Polish painter active in Warsaw at the beginning of the 20th century, a pupil of Leon Wyczółkowski. She became famous primarily for her still lifes, which were distinguished by their well-thought-out composition, broad painting technique and vivid, impressionistic colors. She also created atmospheric landscapes, capturing the light and atmosphere of nature. Her works were repeatedly shown in exhibitions at Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery, where they received critical and public acclaim.
