Vasa family, Sigismund III Vasa (1587-1632), trojak 1595, Poznań - TWO DATES - RARE
A VERY RARE Poznan trojak of Sigismund III Vasa. To date, it has only appeared once on onebid.pl
at DA Marciniak in 2020 and reached a price of 3450 zloty. The piece we are selling is only the second on the platform.
A distinctive feature of this coin is the inclusion of the abbreviated date "95" (1595) on both sides,
on the obverse at the end of the king's titulature and in front of the Levart coat of arms placed in the shield.
Most likely, the coin was struck by using two stamps not of the same coin,
most likely at the Poznan Mint (there are suspicions that it was made at the Wschowa Mint).
Undoubtedly a GREAT rarity among TROJAKS!!!!
