Bronze issue minted to commmemorate Count Andrzej Alojzy Skarbek Ankwicz (1777–1838), a Polish count and bishop who served as Metropolitan Archbishop of Lviv and Primate of Galicia and Lodomeria from 1815 to 1833. From 1833 until his death, he served as Metropolitan Archbishop of Prague and Primate of Bohemia. He is buried in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague.
Medal in a beautiful, original box, perhaps the only one of this type preserved.
