Portrait of the king with head facing right with tubular orifice.
Variety with the full date 15 - 98 separated by the mintmaster's mark "ox's head pierced with hooks" (by Simon Lidman - mintmaster of the Vilnius mint) and the Swan coat of arms (by Andrzej Zawisza - Great Treasurer of Lithuania) on the reverse.
Condition: NGC MS63
Beautifully struck and preserved piece. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror. Mint condition confirmed, for this type, by an extremely high NGC grade. Very rare, valued and sought after variety with the Swan crest. In this condition, the coin is very rare and very difficult to obtain on the collector's market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
