A very nice obverse. It has a lovely surface sheen and a colorful patina, beneath which slight wear is visible. The reverse is also attractive, though it has some misalignment, slight flaws in the coin’s edge, and is largely covered in a dark black patina.
The last type of Stanisław August’s two-złoty coins. Featuring a new design of the royal portrait and coat-of-arms shield (rectangular instead of oval, without a surrounding wreath). Introduced in 1787 in connection with a change in the mint’s alloy.
