On the obverse, a crowned bust in right profile.
On the reverse, a crowned coat-of-arms shield. Below the shield, the denomination “18” and the initials “E–C” (Ernest Dietrich Croll—master of the Leipzig Mint).
A wide bust with a ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
The crown fields on the obverse and reverse are vertically ribbed with pendants in the central fields.
An oval clasp brooch with a pearl-edged border.
A variant of the reverse featuring seven leaves.
A variant of the punctuation with a period after the date.

The coin is scratched but fully legible and in decent condition.
