Katarztna Orońska/Orno (b. 1984, Tarnowskie Góry).
In 2010 she defended her diploma in painting at the Art Institute in Cieszyn. The cities she has lived in - Bytom, Cracow, New York and Stockholm - have been her inspiration for painting. She portrayed people, often completely unknown to her, capturing the atmosphere of a particular place and moment. Currently, man is still the leading motif of her work. She also does illustrations of fairy tales. Individual exhibitions: Bytom Promotion Office, Bytom 2013 - Mitteleurop; "Vintage Curtains", Stockholm 2012. Group exhibitions: Rondo Sztuki- Katowice 2015; Nest Gallery, Geneva 2013; Useum, London 2012; Mitteleurop, Stockholm 2011; National Museum, Kielce - post-competition exhibition (first prize in Adam Korpak's "Drawn Aphorisms" competition). Her works have been used several times for book cover designs (e.g., Stockholm University).
