Biography
Winner of the Polityka's Passport in the field of visual arts for 1994. He was the founder and curator of the Provincial Gallery in Słubice (1980-2002). Since 2002, he has lived and worked in Berlin. In 2021 a comprehensive catalog of the artist's work was published, accompanied by a series of monographic exhibitions in Poland and Germany. In the early days of the Raster Gallery in Warsaw, the type and type of creative activity practiced by Górecki influenced the formation of the gallery's program. In the first decade of the 21st century, the artist was repeatedly present at solo and group exhibitions at the Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.
