Biography
Painter, sculptor, and creator of complex object-space compositions. In his work, he addresses complex issues from various fields of knowledge; his works often reflect profound anthropological inquiries. He earned a degree in painting in the studio of Prof. Włodzimierz Dudkowiak and in sculpture in the studio of Prof. Maciej Szańkowski. He has been a professor of fine arts since 2005. Together with his father, Jan Berdyszak, he runs a studio for sculpture and spatial interventions. From 2008 to 2016, he served as rector of the University of Arts in Poznań. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including at the Grodzka Gallery in Lublin, the ON Gallery in Poznań, and the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw.
