Biography
From 1980 to 1985 he studied painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan. In 1983-90 he co-founded the Poznan art group Koło Klipsa. Knaflewski had his solo exhibition just a few months after the Klips Circle disbanded. It was in 1991, at the Obraz gallery in Poznań. Since then, Knaflewski has signed his works and exhibitions with a quite clear code name: Knaf. He is currently a teacher at the University of Arts in Poznan. In art he deals with installation, photography, acoustic objects. He has presented artistic works in dozens of solo exhibitions, including Galerie Kubus, Hannover, Galerie Atelier 340, Brussels, Galerie X Art Space, Athens, Arsenal City Gallery, Poznan, Galeria Wschodnia, Lodz, BWA Gallery, Slupsk, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw.
