"Olga was a Girl Scout, which in itself symbolizes strength, community and adventure. She was also a nature lover, and her connection to nature permeated every aspect of her life. A lover of poetry, she was able to put her feelings and thoughts on paper in a way that touched the hearts of others. Her life ended in the mountains, where she was buried - in the place she loved so much.
It was Olga, a woman for women, who inspired me to create my canvas. Her scouting anthem, full of passion and spirit, inspired me to express my emotions through art.
As I began working on the canvas, my brush began to lay down waves on it, which turned into mountains. These mountains gradually transformed into women's naked bodies lying in nature, symbolizing freedom, beauty and liberty. In between there were words, poetry and secrets, reflecting Olga's spiritual side. I felt that I was on the scouting trail of a woman who rejects stiff uniforms and tightened belts, choosing naturalness and authenticity.
This connection to nature, harmony and oneness with it, became the central theme of my painting. Without the emotions that Olga's story stirred in me, I would not have been able to paint this work. Her life and work taught me the importance of connecting with nature, freedom and inner beauty. I hope that my canvas captures the spirit of this exceptional woman and that it will also inspire others to seek harmony, freedom and beauty in their lives."
