Anna Maria Zuzela (born March 20, 1995 in Cracow) - GRAND PRIX of the NOWA FALA Competition. Graduate of painting at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (2024, with honorable mention) and the Academy of Physical Education, majoring in Tourism and Recreation. Co-founder of Facjata collective, Facjata Gallery and Lokatorzy collective.
The artist works in the fields of painting, ceramics, photography, performance activities and object creation. Her work focuses on corporeality, the body as a shell that functions in public space and within the various interpretive grids of the contemporary world. She explores the desires, powers and resistances of the body against exploitation, combining conceptual reflection with material artistic practice.
The purchase of this work entails the possibility of making it temporarily available for the purposes of diploma defense, exhibitions or institutional commitments related to the author's artistic activity. The period of possible lending is each time agreed individually with the owner of the work.
