About the Author:
Anna Carpenter
(Anna Stolarska-Przybysz)
- Visual artist and interior designer - lives and works in Warsaw.
She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Interior Design.
Diploma with honors (1987) under the direction of Prof. Wieslaw Nowak and Prof. Tadeusz
Kobylanski; painting annex under Prof. Jan Lis.
Since 1996 he has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers.
He cultivates the following creative disciplines: painting, drawing, exhibitions (as a
designer and independent curator) and interior design (more than 50 realized
projects).
From 2014 to 2018, fascinated by the artistic potential of wicker, she creates projects of
sculptural wicker forms on a large scale including: XXL Basket Collection, Wicker Pearl
and Michalko on Horseback - the legendary, Rudnickian hero. The sculptures were realized by
master weavers in cooperation with the Center for Wickerwork in Rudnik nad Sanem.
Since 2013, he has been creating Sound and Color Theater - Multiverse together with Iwona Jedruch,
an avant-garde musician. The result of this collaboration are cyclical performance concerts.
