AGNIESZKA ŁAKOMA, visual artist, graphic designer, painter, author of spatial objects. She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts (2006) and art history at the Jagiellonian University (2005) in Krakow. She defended her doctorate in the discipline of artistic arts at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (2012). She holds the position of City Artist (since 2013) and Chairperson of the Graphics Section of the Association of Polish Artists in Krakow (since 2019).
Recipient of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2005-2006 and 2021. Awarded the Hommage a Nicolas Schőffer in Budapest (2013) and the Grand Prix of the Best Graphic of the Month by ZPAP Krakow (2008, 2013, 2016).
She has created graphic and painting series: Curtains, Consumo, Ascended, Selfmade City, Moving City, Fleur mystique and Via Lucis. Her works are in many collections in Poland and abroad, including the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, China Printmaking Museum, Reykjanes Art Museum, the National Museum in Warsaw, the Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz, the Association of International Triennial of Printmaking and the Association of Polish Artists in Krakow.
