Biography
From a very young age, he was interested in drawing and painting. In the 1970s and 1980s, he was also passionate about dance, performing in Warsaw theaters, and graduated from multi-level schools of both standard and Latin American dance, elements of which are evident in some of his works. From 1984 to 2000, the artist lived and worked in Germany, where his works were highly sought after by collectors. Most of his works are inspired by his own experiences. Painting a picture, he says, is like teleporting to another world full of fantasy, good humor, colors, and surprises. Each work has a life of its own; the artist talks to his paintings, laughs at them, and sometimes scolds them.
