Biography
The artist is self-taught and paints out of passion. Even as a child she was interested in drawing, but it was only as an adult that she started painting pictures on canvas. She puts a lot of work and heart into each of her paintings. She loves to pour on canvas the beauty of nature, fleeting moments that can be frozen in a painting. She is most interested in realistic painting, but also tries other forms, e.g. surrealism, abstraction. The sea often appears in her paintings, she tries to reflect its beauty with great care, and in each painting is contained a piece of her soul. She has participated in several painting competitions, and in 2021 her painting titled. "Stop the moment" won a silver award in the International online painting competition "Shadows of blue" organized by Camelback Gallery. Works of Magdalena Malczewska can be found in private collections in Poland , Germany and Canada among others.
