Monika Stolarska, from the series "Mental Mountains."

Born in Warsaw, Poland. In 2005 she received a diploma from the Wojciech Gerson High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts with a specialization in additional Art in Public Space in 2011. Her most important achievements and exhibitions in which she participated include: participation in the painting exhibitions Pracownia 64 and Young Warsaw Tapestry at Warsaw's Lazienkowska Gallery (2007 and 2008), participation in the painting exhibition Kunstbrucke2 Young Artists From Eastern Europe in Berlin (2008), participation in the drawing exhibition In Process, organized by the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts' Faculty of Painting (2009), taking second place in the competition for a mural at the capital's Centrum subway station (2010), individual exhibition Destrukcje/Konstrukcje/Deconstructions at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, participation in the exhibition Liberte, Variete, Fraternite at Atelier Foksal in Warsaw and participation in the exhibition Promotions 2012- National Youth Painting Review at the Art Gallery in Legnica. He lives and works in Warsaw.
