A memoir by S. Przybyszewski; the work presents portraits and recollections of figures from the artistic world whom he encountered primarily during his stays in Germany and Scandinavia. The author was a Polish writer, poet, playwright, and short-story writer of the Young Poland period, a scandalist, a representative of the Krakow bohemian scene, and a figure in the Polish Decadent movement.
