Biography
From 1979 to 1985 studied at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz. In 1982-1985 he studied philosophy at the University of Lodz. He obtained his diploma in the Woodcut Techniques Studio of Prof. Andrzej Bartczak and in the Painting Studio of Prof. Stanisław Fijałkowski. Since 2002, he has served as an assistant professor at the Studio of Fundamentals of Composition at the Faculty of Textiles and Clothing of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. From 2002 to 2007, he co-headed the Interdepartmental Open Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. . Since 2007, he has been a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Since 2016, he has been a full professor of visual arts. He heads the Studio of Painting Imperative at the W. Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz.
