Mykhailo and Halyna TRUSHYK, a married couple of folk artists, mainly engaged in Hutsul ceramics, as well as embroidery and traditional stamping.
Mr. Mykhailo has been making ceramics since 1980, when he graduated from the folk art technical school in Kosovo, and Ms. Halyna since 1986. Both are members of the National Union of Folk Artists of Ukraine. Both have been awarded the title "Distinguished Folk Artist." Mr. Mykhailo is additionally Chairman of the Kosiv Branch of the Union.
They have participated in more than thirty exhibitions of international, national, or regional importance (including Kyiv, Lviv, Warsaw, Wegorzewo, Czestochowa, etc.).
