A pair of dessert plates made at the Meissen manufactory when it was recovering from the Napoleonic wars and resumed production. The thick porcelain mass has acquired relief decoration (floral ornaments), gilding and additionally painted bouquets and floral darts - creating an impression of exaggeration and appropriate for this period of Meissen production. Similar dessert plates in the porcelain collection of the Wilanów Museum.
