Kasia Davies (b. 1970, Lodz), "Gossip Girl in Reverse," 2025

Biography
Artist, painter, interior decorator, manager. Born in Lodz, but spent most of her life in London. She graduated from the theater college, London School of Management and the interior design Creator course at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. For many years she has been involved in interior design, using paintings painted for a specific client. As an artist, she fulfills herself in various disciplines: in visual arts as a painter and stage designer in the advertising industry, in music: she was the manager of Ich Troje, owner of a recording studio, producer and publisher of, among others, the band Kryzys. She has participated in more than a dozen group exhibitions throughout Europe, and will also present her work at the Florence Biennale in October. Her painting "Gossip in reverse" was awarded in the YICCA 2025 international competition and presented at the final exhibition in Venice. She also won First Prize in the 18th edition of the IT'SLIQUID International Competition, which will see her work presented at prestigious exhibitions in Venice, Rome, Barcelona and London. Her works are in private collections in Poland, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Kasi's work has also found use in various forms - including as a whiskey label, tattoo design or motif on a photo wallpaper. She is a colorist and prefers figurative painting. The subject of most works is a woman. The paintings are full of color and warmth, introducing the mood of summer and positive emotions.
