Biography
The artist does easel painting in oil, but also experiments with other creative techniques. Her works oscillate between magical realism and surrealism, from which she draws most inspiration. Strong contrasts and intense colors are present in her artistic realizations, as is her fascination with the cosmos and its objects. Both the night and day skies, with their wealth of phenomena, are often the main subject or an important context for other depicted content.
The cityscape is a motif that the artist enjoys, especially when portraying her beloved Warsaw. She also creates from her imagination, building mysterious, undefined spaces that are outside of time and governed by their own laws. In her paintings, she tries to combine the material earthly world with the spiritual and intangible, beyond sensory experience and logical analysis.
