She was born on June 14, 1976 in Bialystok, Poland. In 1996 she graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Suprasl with a major in artistic textiles. From 1996 to 2001 she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She defended her diploma in easel painting in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Wisniewski.
