Biography
She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1998, she received her diploma from the Lettering Studio under the supervision of Prof. Wojciech Regulski. She currently works in graphic design and painting. She has been a member of the Polish Association of Visual Artists since 2010. She draws inspiration from Italian Renaissance painting and icons, which she attempts to blend into her paintings. She often uses wood as a painting surface, which allows her to apply gold leaf and polish it. Her works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions as well as competitions (National Student Drawing Review, Katowice 1997; National Poster Competition for the Student Song Review, Kraków 1996—3rd place, the Tadeusz Kulisiewicz National Workshop Printmaking Competition, Nidzica 1998, the 1st and 2nd Student Printmaking Biennales, Poznań 1999 and 2001, “Artistic Hopes of Częstochowa” 2001 (honorable mention), 3 honorable mentions in competitions—“Paper Obsession”—Cezex 2006, 2008, 2009, “Collage and Assemblage” at BWA Bielsko-Biała 2023.
