A box containing negatives from the Cold War era. On the lid of the box is a catalog card from the French Military Geographic Documentation Center, detailing studies on the uniforms, equipment, and ranks of the Hungarian Army as part of the Soviet Bloc forces. The warning that the folder must be opened in a darkroom and the precise cataloging of the materials attest to the classified and technical nature of these collections, which were used for reconnaissance purposes.
