[VETULANIAdam]. Typescript of a scholarly debate between Adam Vetulani and Rafał Taubenschlag, with a handwritten header and A. Vetulani’s signature, dated May 20, 1932, in Kraków.
Typed copy on 9 pages, size 34x21 cm. Continuation of the scholarly dispute conducted in the pages of "Przewodnik Historyczno-Prawny." The magazine’s editors ceased publishing the views of both sides, with the final word going to Taubenschlag. As Vetulani writes: “The author levels a series of accusations against me, denying me any scholarly qualifications.” This text, in the form of an open letter, is an attempt to refute the opponent’s arguments. A handwritten heading precedes the text: “Dear Professor,” and the text is signed “Adam Vetulani.” The pages are creased crosswise; the tear on the final page at the fold has been taped.
A. Vetulani(1901–1976)—legal historian, author of works on the history of canon law and medieval Polish law, university professor, editor of historical sources, and organizer of academic life.
