Zofia Koreywo-Leitgeberowa [1907-1991] - made her debut with one of the leading roles in Konstanty Meglicki's film "Above the Snow" (premiered Feb. 19, 1929). Despite favorable reviews, the role was both the first and last film role of her career. In the 1930s she appeared exclusively as a theater actress [with S. Jaracz at Warsaw's Ateneum, then at Toronto's Teatr Polski, and in 1935 she moved to Poznan, where she performed at Teatr Polski]. In 1935 she married Bogdan Leitgeber, a wealthy and much older Poznan merchant and theater and opera enthusiast. After the birth of her first child, she withdrew from professional life.
