Jaroslaw Filipek - Polish Landscape
The series 'Polish Landscape' is a notebook of expeditions around Poland, painterly memories of places
fascinating with their natural beauty. Watercolors full of light and mood. A thorough
Observation of nature in different seasons of the year. The paintings are characterized by a reflective, nostalgic mood,
expressing the artist's longing for pristine nature. Landscape is for Jaroslaw Filipek a constant
fascination. The exhibition consists of painterly tales from different corners of Poland. The artist
paints both vast, panoramic views and sensitively cropped fragments,
showing single landscape motifs.
He has exhibited his works during Luxembourg Art Week in Luxembourg, at the Salon d'art Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and at the Salon international d'art contemporain in Antwerp and Toulouse. He has had dozens of solo exhibitions in Poland, Sweden, Spain and France.
