Silver, bone; chrysoprase?; 7.2 x 4.4 cm.
Germany, 18th century (1796?).
Oval, with the head of Christ carved in bone, placed in the center. Surrounded by an openwork silver frame with a motif of a pair of female heads against a background of shells and rocaille and floral thread. Brooch camouflaged with three green cabochons of chrysoprase (?). On the back an engraved German inscription with the date "1796" ora a twice-stamped monogram of the goldsmith (?) "MP".
