The offered work is an ascetic meditation (1st ed.: 1684), reprinted many times in Poland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Hungary, also in Polish, French and German translations, between 1684 and 1844. Krzesimowski A.A. (1650 - 1703), abbot of Koprzywnica, royal secretary, ascetic writer. in 1686 he took part in negotiations with King John III Sobieski on the staffing of abbeys in Poland.
