One of Józef Hoene-Wroński’s (1776–1853) messianic writings, devoted to the special role of the Slavic nations in the future history of humanity. The author saw in Slavic culture a force capable of undertaking a spiritual and civilizational mission and of bringing about the restructuring of the social and political order that he advocated.
