Excerpt: " ... Already towards the forest road the rockets have gone. Like comets they are chasing into cars and a throng of soldiers. Flaming explosions can be seen. Pieces of trucks and trailers are flying in all directions. A jam is formed, which the bombs shatter. "Ilyushin" by Lt. Col. Wiika comes out of the dive. Now rockets and bombs cover the forest road Lt. Korolev. The shrill whine of the engines is heard, it's Sgt. Filatov and chor. Ovcharenko at full engine speed bring their machines out of spades. Again the forest moved. It has become smoky. Boiling with explosions like a volcano. On the road there is disarray. Germans descend into the forest. It doesn't help anything. The forest ripples like a rough sea and burns as if doused with gasoline. Yoganov, Koltygin and Sokolov keep up the horror of the forest inferno with bombs and rockets. The gunmen are not idle. Dabek, Dybovsky, Roshovich, Kaleniak chop with UBTs alternating long and short bursts. The second incident, a judgmental day! Enraged horses beat their hooves over dead bodies. Cars clatter in ditches and sand. Explosions mixed with bands of fire tear trees from their roots, and cars like a ball are thrown against the burning wall of the forest...."
