The text, published with the permission of the Archbishop of Paris, contains prayers, devotions, meditations, for various parts of the liturgical year. The title page contains a mini engraving with an allegorical scene that is actually the publisher's logo.
Period binding, full brown leather gilt and stamped on edges in medium condition; spine stamped and gilt with title and geometric-plant designs; interior in medium condition; occasional stains, but dry; handwritten ex-libris on title page; all page edges gilt; overall db condition.
